The main tasks:
1) keeping district geodetic and cartographic resources, including registration of land and buildings, soil land classification and geodetic records of public utilities,
2) coordination of the location of the infrastructural network of utilities under design,
3) establishment of specific matrices,
4) conducting general valuation of real estate and the development and maintenance of maps and tax tables concerning real estate,
5) protection of geodetic, gravimetric and magnetic marks,
6) creation, maintenance and share of databases and standard cartographic documents, i.e. the register of land and buildings (real estate cadastre), geodetic records of public utilities, the register of price and the value of the property, detailed geodetic networks, topographic objects, cadastral map and the base map.
